The Hidden Superpower

History and Bible prophecy prove that the Holy Roman Empire is preparing for World War  iii . Germany now waits for the strongman to lead this empire. He will be more devious and destructive than Vladimir Putin.

The Holy Roman Empire is about to shock the world!

Germany started World War i and World War ii. Germany will start World War iii. The European Union will soon shrink from 28 nations down to 10, ruled by 10 “kings.” This will be the seventh and final resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire. Jesus Christ will personally return to Earth to destroy this empire and ensure there will never be another war! Over 100 prophecies in your Bible say so.

In a co-worker letter from Dec. 27, 1981, Herbert W. Armstrong wrote, “What the world does not realize is that, under cover, secret planning is proceeding furiously, uncovered by the news media, unknown by the public.” The world doesn’t see what is brewing in Germany and Europe!

Mr. Armstrong continued:

But suddenly, unexpectedly, as biblical prophecy reveals, the whole world will be startled and shocked into wonder to learn that a new third super world power has suddenly burst forth onto the world scene—a resurrection of the medieval Holy Roman Empire by a union of 10 nations in Europe—very possibly five in Western Europe and five broken loose from the Communist orbit in Eastern Europe!

How could Mr. Armstrong know this would happen?

“The uprising against Soviet domination in Poland can easily lead to Poland, and such East European nations as Romania, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia and even Greece, joining in a union with Roman Catholic nations in Western Europe,” he wrote in a co-worker letter from May 20, 1982. This has since happened.

A decade after Mr. Armstrong wrote this, Germany started a war in Yugoslavia that fractured the republic and led to the resulting breakaway states being domineered by Germany! No nation on Earth has started more wars than Germany.

“And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns” (Revelation 17:7). This beast has seven heads, or resurrections. Six of them have already come and gone. The seventh one is ready to burst on the scene in the coming years!

Gone Underground

“The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is” (Revelation 17:8). After World War ii, the beast went into the “bottomless pit,” or underground. The Holy Roman Empire has been preparing since before this war ended to come back and win Round Three!

In Germany’s Conquest of the Balkans , I write:

In 1996, a shocking World War ii intelligence document was made public. The document, detailing an August 1944 meeting between top German industrialists, reveals a secret postwar plan to restore the Nazis to power. Several of Germany’s elite industries were represented, including Messerschmitt and Volkswagenwerks. These companies, the document asserts, were to “prepare themselves to finance the Nazi Party, which would be forced to go underground.” When the U.S. declassified this document, it received only sparse news coverage. Yet even more disturbing than the deep stupor of the press is the fact that the U.S. government did not make it public until 1996—over 50 years later!

This is exactly what Revelation 17:8 is talking about! It’s one of the most shocking cover-ups in the history of America, and certainly the most terrible mistake our intelligence agencies have ever made! Were American and British leaders afraid to tell their people about the Nazis going underground? Now the information is public, yet people are too drowsy to notice!

Here’s a quote from that intelligence document, which you can read in Germany’s Conquest of the Balkans :

Now, the Nazi party stands behind the industrialists and urges them to save themselves by getting funds outside Germany and at the same time to advance the party’s plans for its postwar operation. … Also, there are a number of agencies in Switzerland which for a 5 percent commission buy property in Switzerland, using a Swiss cloak.

The German masterminds behind World War ii went underground! They planned to allocate funds to other nations as a cloak to conceal what they were really doing! The world remains unaware of this sinister plot—but all people will know about it very soon because God promised to reveal it in this end time.

After the defeat of Germany, the Nazi party recognizes that certain of its best-known leaders will be condemned as war criminals. However, in cooperation with the industrialists, it is arranging to place its less conspicuous but most important members in positions with various German factories as technical experts or members of its research and designing offices.

Key members of the Nazi party blended in as workers at German factories! What a cover-up! In the booklet, I write: “By 1944, the Germans knew they would lose World War ii and were already planning for the next round! ‘Existing financial reserves in foreign countries,’ the document says, ‘must be placed at the disposal of the party so that a strong German empire can be created after the defeat.’”

Has a strong German empire been created? It’s staring us right in the face!

Mr. Armstrong talked in 1945 about Germany going underground! He said we don’t understand German thoroughness and determination to see a plan through, even when defeated in two world wars.

Forgetting History

The Yugoslav wars of the 1990s were started by Germany’s recognition of Croatia and Slovenia in 1991. Germany wanted the different ethnic groups to break away from Yugoslavia.

The Serbs fought with America and Britain in both world wars, but America provided most of the firepower to help Germany destroy Yugoslavia. America will pay a dear price for that; we have given Germany, a war-making nation with global ambitions, control of the Balkans and the Adriatic Sea, which connects to the Mediterranean Sea.

Virtually the whole world—the U.S., Europe and the United Nations—was against Germany’s actions, but Germany stood up and forced everyone else to bow to its will.

“[Then Croatian President Franjo] Tudjman had publicly and repeatedly said his country was right in supporting Hitler!” I wrote. “He was very adamant and unrepentant about that.”

Germany caused World War ii, in which 60 million people were killed. Croatia supported the Nazis. In the Yugoslav wars, America backed its historical enemies while betraying the Serbs, a longtime ally! Yugoslavia was never a threat to America; Germany always has been!

After the Yugoslav wars, the Croatian people sang a hymn that translates to “Thank You, Germany.” They didn’t thank nato or America—just Germany. What a waste! When will we ever learn to beware of Germany, referred to in Bible prophecy as our “lovers”? It will turn on us quickly.

British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in 1995 spoke out against the European Union, which has become anchored to Germany. She didn’t stay in power for much longer. As World War ii drew to a close, our leaders pledged never to allow Germany to build up armaments again. Germany sells more armaments today than almost any nation!

God is using Germany to correct our nations! (Revelation 17:17). He is wrathful about the sins in this world. All Germany needs now is a strongman (Daniel 8:23-24).

“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand” (verse 25).

Germany will be successful for a time in World War iii, but Jesus Christ Himself will intervene to defeat these hostile armies and end the age of men ruling over men. What a blessing that’s going to be! ▪
